Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not sure at this point if we can hold the camp although we are still vigorously working on the project. The event committee will closely monitor the situation, make a final decision on June 30th, and provide an update. Meanwhile, please check the information below so that you can be ready to sign up if we get a green light on this exciting event. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Stay safe and healthy. Students All Ages and Belt Levels, Parents, Family Members, Friends

  • Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Children 13 to 18 not accompanied by an adult must have a waiver of consent by parent or guardian.


Unfortunately, there will be no early bird specials this year as we cannot make the final decision until June 30th.

  4. Accommodations: The resort offers 8 rooms that fit 7 to 9 members. Of the 8 rooms 3 will be designated to families. Bunk Beds, Full bathroom facilities and showers

  5. Access to the beautiful lake and field

  6. And of course, all training classes!


Yes, we know it's a long list but you have to read it, please!

  1. As representatives of Seiyu Karate, we will be respectful to all staff members and other users of the facility at all times.

  2. To ensure the safety of all members, anyone who wishes to enjoy the lake must be an adult the age of 18 or over unless accompanied by an adult the age of 18 or over. This includes being on the dock space at any time. Please talk to one of the black belt instructors if you have any questions about this.

  3.  Life jackets must be worn at all times when using a canoe or watercraft.

  4. Travel in groups of at least two with one being an adult when exploring the trails of Loon Lake. Do not attempt to feed or touch any wildlife at any time.

  5. Alcohol consumption is to be kept discrete and respectful at all times and the BC laws strictly adhered to where the legal age of consumption is 19 and over.

  6. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property.

  7. All items that are brought onto the property that are disposable are to be disposed of in the appropriate trash containers, also if you see any trash laying around please pick it up and dispose of it. We are here as a group representing Seiyu Karate and must be mindful of our reputation at all times.

  8. Bathroom facilities must be kept clean at all times and no paper or trash left on the floors. If the paper products are empty, please immediately let one of the adults know about it so it can be replaced for the next person.

  9. Before leaving the dining hall, take a look around and clean up all items left by yourself or others in our group.

  10. If you see any unsafe conditions or have any concerns, immediately bring it to the attention of one of the black belt instructors.

  11. Keep a positive and motivated mindset while participating in this camp experience and let’s make it a fantastic experience for all involved and remember to maintain and build our reputation as respectful representatives of Seiyu Karate.


Registration Deadline and Cancellation Policy

  1. Please register by August 1st.

  2. Please be advised the last day to cancel with a full refund is August 1, 2020. Loon Lake Resort requires two weeks to purchase food and hire staff to accommodate for this event.

  3. All cancellations after August 1, 2020 will result in a 50% refund on registration fees. We hope that sounds fair to you if you have to cancel your registration.

  4. Those who signed up before June 30th will receive a full refund if Summer Camp is cancelled.

Who should be signing up with which form?

  • A parent sending their child 13-18 to the camp ⇒ FORM 1

  • A parent going with their child 18 & under ⇒ FORM 2 AND FORM 3

  • A student 19 & over ⇒ FORM 3
